Matt Bryans

Matt Bryans Breaking the Land Exhibition is truly spectacular. Utilizing only India erasers and inky photographs on newsprint, Matt Bryans transforms newspaper cuttings into epic installations. Check out his exhibition at SF Camerawork, an amazing non-profit that helps emerging artists explore new directions. The show will be on display through August 20th.http://www.sfcamerawork.org/index.php

YUPPIE FRIDAY

I know I have posted a lot of events recently, but this one just can't be passed up especially because it supports a great cause. This Friday June 10th at the new venune Monroe SF there is going to be a very special happy hour in support of 826 Valencia, an organization that helps students ages six to eighteen with their writing skills. The event goes from 5:30-8:30 and should be a great place to meet and to connect with some great SF people. Don't miss out! http://www.yuppiefriday.com/  For more info: 826valencia.org

Bay Area Brew Fest!

Although the Bay Area Brew Fest has nothing to do with photography, I thought I would mention it because it has a reputation of being super fun and worth the 40 dollar entrance fee! Being from San Francisco we are all used to the great wine tasting events, but this event offers beer tasting pared with great food! If you are into photography I am sure there will not be a lack of subjects to snap at this fun loving fest! Check it out this Saturday from 1-5 pm. Could be a great way to spend your Saturday! http://www.drinkeatplay.com/bayareabrewfest/
